Designed in 1901 by Willie Park, the course of La Boulie was the first course to stage the French Open in 1906 and held the World Amateur Championship in 1994. One of the most prestigious private clubs in France it is extremely competitive having won numerous French National club Championships and has won the European Cup on no less than 3 occasions. This famous club has had several Olympic medalists and World champions in many sports. La Vallee course is typically parkland and very hilly, demanding strong technical skills. Always beautifully maintained, La Boulie boasts some of the best greens in Europe.
